Knives

All of my knives and their sheaths are individually handmade by me and unique.

Individual prices and availability of stock is available upon inquiry.
Knives are priced according to blade size and handle complexity; the fancier it is, the pricier it is.
Here is an overview of knife prices:

Viking Cheese Knives -- $150
Field and Kitchen Paring Knives -- $375+
6" Kitchen Utility Knives -- $375 to $450
Kitchen Cooks' Knives -- $400 to $500
8 1/2" Chefs' Knives -- $500 to $600

All Damascus (pattern welded) steel knives are considerably more expensive, as the making is distinctly more complex and laborious. They start around $800 and can range up around $1750. I make all of the Damascus steel in my shop, from billet to blade.

I use 52100 or 80CRV2 steel for all of my monosteel knives. These alloys are favorably tough, yet flexible, they have great edge retention, and fare slightly better against rust than pure carbon steel alloys.

Because my work is one of a kind, and I sell my work at tradeshows, maintaining an online storefront is unusually difficult.
